Hygiene measures

Tips for hygiene:

  • Wash feet every day.
  • Then wipe them dry properly (especially between the toes)
  • Wear socks made of natural materials and change them daily.
  • Move your feet so that they are properly supplied with blood.
  • Wear adequately ventilated shoes.
  • In public facilities, such as swimming pools or saunas, you should always wear flip-flops.
  • Also the contact with contaminated shoes, socks or stockings can cause the infection.
  • Change Bed linen, towels and socks regularly at least 60 °C
  • For diabetics, ensure that their blood sugar levels are optimal and meticulous maintain foot hygiene.
